Ever wonder what it would be like to mash-up a Shakespeare poem with a Hip Hop Song? Verses is a new iPhone and iPad app that puts a fresh spin on a cherished classic: refrigerator magnet poetry. We built this app to set your creativity ablaze with Versess limitless word mixing possibilities that allow you to become a kind of dictionary DJ. After creating a poem out of your own personal mix of dictionaries, you can send your creation to friends via email or publish it in your Facebook photo album! (network connectivity required)
Arranging words into your own poetry is much easier and smoother (and thus more enjoyable) using Verses, as opposed to the original "real life" fridge magnets. But even more enjoyable is the pleasure of sharing your poetic creations with friends. With the click of a button, you can publish your poem to Facebook (assuming youre logged in). Then ALL of your friends can see your creativity, not just the ones who happen to be in standing in front of your fridge (Facebook account and network connectivity required). Plus you can email your poetry directly to your friends, all without ever leaving the app. You can also save your poetry to your devices photo album.

I have one of the magnet games and it is fun, but very nice to have on the ipad. The app lets you explore the random element in creativity. Can be very nice at parties. I havent tried out the other dictionaries.
I dont know how anyone could pass over this app, unless they r not as interested in words n fun as my daughter n I r!!!! We looove this, its tons of fun n we get to hang out n relax writing silly rhymes n sharing the laughs with each other, friends n family!!! This app loves us back too, even says so when u get to different achievement levels of poetry!!!

Very beautiful UI, easy to figure out. Would probably sell more premium dictionaries if you posted example words from each.

This beats fridge magnet poetry hands down!!! Great for those who like to play with words and write poetry. The words are varied enough that you can make each poem fit your mood, but somehow they are still related enough that no matter what, each poem makes sense... and now that it lets you add custom words its even better! One of my favorite spare-time apps.
Some bad moments
Any body that wants to get this app is going to be struck dumb this app is terrible you do not have a chance to make a decent ryme there is no point of it and it is the stupidest app in the world it is T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E do not get this app at all never get it dont even concider it never ever ever get it NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And the worst part is I am forced to rate it 0 star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This looked like so much fun. However there are ZERO Instructions about suggestions for use plus the 8 extra dictionaries (2.99!!!) page will not orient correctly on the screen (yes off and on) which brings me to the major reason I say DO NOT BUY THIS APP, when I tried to report this prob - NO SUPPORT e-mail, no worthwhile help, so now I stuck with an app that doesnt work properly and if it did it is not like it gives any directions! DO NOT BUY VERSES!!!!!!!!!
Would be better with more words w/o having to pay @ first 4 more. Cool after payment but you gotta capture my desire first. You must give to receive and although the app is free and fun and a few words are as well, I quickly deleted for lack of something missing.
It is a good app if you r willing to spend money on it. You cant do a lot if you dont spend anything on it. I dont think it is worth it.
This is horrible! It doesnt even tell u how to use it! Im so confused
After buying extra words and using them on a poem. A refresh deletes these "purchased" words. You have to buy them again if you want to use them again.
I thought it would be fun, and was willing to buy more words, but to delete them and require you to purchase them again is at best fraud, and at worst theft.
This program will be reported to apple!
